Borås Cotton Contract

Plesner Patterns has done a collab with Borås Cotton Contract, and designed the print “Singlande Blad” on a semi-transparent fabric perfect for thin curtains. The design is inspired by everyday events, preserving and amplifying seemingly unimportant moments. A glance to the side and a pattern revealed itself in the ditch, a beautiful withered flower with thousand off small leaves. Now perpetuated forever in time.

Two colourways available for purchase through Borås Cotton, the fabric i 3 m wide and flame-retardant.

InHouse carpets

Plesner Patterns has done a collab with InHouse, and designed a collection of hand tufted wool carpets. Here, the calm of nature and the warmth of home meet in an expression that is both rooted and felt. Inspired by childhood memories of nature, textures and freedom, the collection brings the rhythms of nature into the room.

The designs are inspired by the principles of biophilic design, which is based on the idea that humans have an inherent need to be in contact with nature. The result is calm and sensual surroundings in tune with the rhythms of nature.

Far-far Cement tiles

Plesner Patterns has done a collab with Far-far Tiles. Each tile is handmade in Morocco using carefully crafted moulds and coloured concrete, something tactile, grounded, and beautifully imperfect.

There is a fresh energy to these tiles, nature-inspired and full of movement. Think of walking over autumn leaves, stepping into something lush and alive; the shimmer of crushed ice scattered across a frozen lake, it feels like the perfect step forward — rooted in the past, inspired by nature, and made with care.

Stokke®

Plesner Patterns have designed patterns for two of the Stokke Tripp Trapp cushions.

"For our collaboration, Kiki turned to two of nature's most majestic features, the ocean and trees. Drawing from the colors and motion of the water, she captured its essence by creating soft, playful waves which became the Waves patterns.

For the Stokke® Clikk™ Multi Circles Cushion, she opted for a less literal translation, and instead illustrated growth resulting in an impressionistic rendering of the rings of the trees."

Norwegian Icons Tokyo

To celebrate the 120th years of diplomatic relations between Norway and Japan, Norwegian Icons has collaborated with Norwegian textile designer Kiki Plesner to create a limited-edition "Tenugui" (traditional Japanese hand towel).

The pattern is made with a wodden fork, and playing with the contrast between the western fork and the Japanese traditional Tenugui, keeping in mind that in Japan they mainly use chop sticks.

A nice merge of Norwegian and Japanese culture, celebrating the collaboration between the two countries.
