Can the floating dreamy-ness of the shadows make our thoughts wander into nature-like moments? 🍃

In March I was so lucky stay a week at the residency «The Forest, Wergeland & I. Everything is comic, nothing is still» , a project by @gilles_cecilie, they invited a group of artists to explore nature, liminal space, the seen & the imagined, and the process of an artist. I deep dived into shadow & light, dappled sunlight, references to nature that make the mind travel - a space in between, a gap in our everyday.

Dappled sunlight gives life to any dull surface, the slightly moving pattern invites you to drift of into a peaceful state of mind.

I’ve been fascinated of this light/shadow for such a long time, and beeing at the Wergelandshaugen recidency was a perfect time do deep dive into this theme.

It was amazing having this wonderful location at Eidsvoll for one week. Being able to focus just on creativity and leave all distractions in Oslo. I have tested to capture the drifting moments of shadows and flickering rays of sunlight. This resulted in a fabric and 2 draped sound absorbing pieces presented at the group exhibition, 27th of April to 4th of August at Wergelandshaugen at Eidsvoll 💫
